SEPA Instant Payments developments underway

SEPA Instant Payments is one of the most important European payments development in the coming period. It will allow European parties to send each other money 24/7 and have it available within seconds. It will bring payments into the digital age and provide a new foundation for meeting customer needs and innovation.

Banks have the option to offer (SEPA) Instant Payments to their customers from November 2017 onwards. Some countries plan to go live this year, some in the next one or two years and some still considering.
