Payments Advisory Group was founded in 2011 by Eddy Ouwendijk and Taco de Vries, who have been working together since the beginning of their careers at Interpay Netherlands (currently EquensWorldline). In 2013 Fred Bär joined the partner team.

Eddy Ouwendijk – founding partner

Eddy Ouwendijk started his professional career at Interpay Nederland (currently EquensWorldline) and held various management positions before joining Deloitte in 2007 as senior Manager at Capital Markets as part of Deloitte Financial Advisory Services. In 2010 Eddy left Deloitte to work as an independent contractor before starting the Payments Advisory Group with Taco de Vries in 2011.

Within Payments Advisory Group Eddy’s main focus is on the corporate sector.

Taco de Vries – founding partner

Taco de Vries started his professional career at Interpay Nederland (currently EquensWorldline) and held various management and advisory positions before joining Atos Consulting in 2007. At Atos Taco acted as Principal Consultant and headed the Payments Practice within Financial Services. In 2009 Taco left Atos to work as an independent contractor before starting the Payments Advisory Group with Eddy Ouwendijk in 2011.

Within Payments Advisory Group Taco’s main focus is on the banking sector.

Fred Bär – partner

Fred Bär is a business executive with a broad background in general and functional management and experienced in IT, marketing, consulting and business development. His professional career started at Shell, Digital Equipment (currently integrated into HP) and KPN before joining Interpay Nederland in 1999. Within Interpay Fred held various executive management positions (Chipknip, Giro payments, Marketing & Sales) and was part of the Interpay Management Team. In 2006 Fred left Interpay to work as an independent contractor in the international payments market. Fred joined the Payments Advisory Group in 2011 as an associate and joined the partner team in 2013.

Within Payments Advisory Group Fred’s main focus is on the payment service providers.
